Iran’s Zanjan shrouded in fog in Photos

Thick fog has shrouded the city of Zanjan in northwest of Iran, creating fairytale scenes.

Despite reducing visibility across the city, the fog created spectacular views in Zanjan. The city is the capital of a province of the same name.

The province is one of the coolest provinces in Iran year round. It attracts many tourists who are keen to escape the summer heat.

Zanjan is rich with tourist attractions. The province is home to several historical sites such as the Dome of Soltaniyeh and the Nik Pey caravanserai.

Zanjan is also a good place for nature lovers as it is home to Sharshar waterfall, Katale Khor Cave, and other natural attractions, as well as pristine villages.
